Your new challenge


The successful Sr. Electrical Engineer is an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats. Is experienced in handling a wide range of engineering and design duties and is used to work independently with little or no supervision. Must be well organized, flexible, and enjoys the challenges of supporting a new designed office of diverse people.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Can serve as project lead and provide technical expertise in the area of Electrical Engineering and Design
  • Maintain, support and provide input to (the set-up of) Company Standard Practices and Work Instructions
  • Coordinate and support in the knowledge sharing with, and the development of (junior) Engineers from Parent Company CC-7
  • Coordinate, support and provide input to other Disciplines and external parties related to Electrical scope for projects in Study, FEED and EPC phase.
  • Provide support and input to Proposals and Estimating Projects and the development of Electrical Installation Subcontracts
  • Take initiative in timely gathering essential input from other Disciplines and External Parties
  • Perform Electrical system studies and calculations e.g., for Load Flow, Short Circuit, Relay Coordination, Voltage Drop, Electric Motor Starting, Power Cable De-rating, Earthing and Grounding
  • Manage the development of Electrical deliverables such Electrical Load List, Equipment Specifications and Equipment Data Sheets
  • Manage the development of Key One Line Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Schematic Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, and Electrical Installation Details
  • Compile technical specifications and requisitions
  • Perform technical bid evaluations and review vendor data and documents. Attend technical meetings with other Engineering Disciplines, Client and Vendors
  • Be responsible for project set-up, progress reporting, budget control, management of change and project close-out and for maintaining the Schedule, Quality and Cost objectives of the Project


Job requirements

Technical Abilities:

  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas industry as Electrical Engineer
  • Experienced in application of American (IEEE, NEC), Russian Codes and Standards, European (IEC) Electrical codes and standards
  • Advanced knowledge of Electrical Power System Analysis by ETAP / Power factory DigSilent.
  • Experienced with the AVEVA Electrical software for electrical engineering and design is highly beneficial. 
  • Sound working knowledge of MS Office Suite software and Engineering Software commonly used in the Industry
