Your new challenge

As an Electrical Engineer at CC7 Europe BV, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality engineering work primarily within the office and project team environments across all project phases—from Study and FEED to EPC. Working within multi-disciplinary project teams, you’ll contribute your technical expertise to design, analysis, and implementation efforts that support the successful execution of energy and infrastructure projects. This role is not a field, on-site, or maintenance position.

This mid-senior level role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of complex, global projects while developing a deep understanding of electrical systems design and engineering coordination. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from various disciplines, vendors, and clients, ensuring that all electrical work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards.

You will be part of a forward-thinking engineering team, contributing not only to project delivery but also to the continual improvement of internal practices and knowledge sharing across the company.

Your role will be focused on electrical design engineering, technical coordination, and project support primarily in office settings, with limited or no requirement for field visits or on-site maintenance tasks.

Your new challenge will include:

• Providing technical expertise in Electrical Engineering and Design within project teams.
• Supporting and contributing to Company Standard Practices ad Work instructions.
• Coordinating and collaborating with other disciplines and external parties on Electrical scope for projects in Study, FEED, and EPC phases.
• Assisting in proposals, estimating projects, and development of Electrical Installation Subcontracts.
• Gathering and integrating essential input from other disciplines and external stakeholders.
• Performing Electrical system studies and calculations such as Load Flow, Short Circuit, Coordination, Voltage Drop, Electric Motor Starting, Powe Cable De-rating, Earthing, and Grounding.
• Developing Electrical deliverables including Electrical Load Lists, Equipment Specifications, and Equipment Data Sheets.
• Contributing to the development of Key One Line Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Cable Schedules, Schematic Diagrams, Termination Diagrams, and Electrical Installation Details.
• Preparing technical specifications and requisitions.
• Conducting technical bid evaluations, reviews vendor data and documents, and participates in technical meetings with clients, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Supporting project setup, progress reporting, budget control, change management, and project close-out while maintaining schedule, quality, and cost objectives.
• This role does not involve direct responsibility for field maintenance activities or hands-on site electrical work.

What we would like from you

We’re looking for someone with a strong technical background and the ability to work across disciplines in a structured, solution-oriented way. You’ll need to be self-driven and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while staying aligned with team and project objectives. Strong written and spoken English is essential for documentation, coordination, and communication.

You’ll be at ease working with engineering software (e.g., AVEVA, SPEL, ETA), managing technical details without losing sight of the bigger picture. A familiarity with international electrical standards and systems is essential, and your ability to engage with vendors, clients, and project partners will be crucial to your success.

We value a structured thinker with a quality-focused mindset who can bring discipline, flexibility, and collaboration to every phase of the engineering process. This is a technical office-based role, requiring minimal to no field or site presence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering within the Oil&Gas or similar heavy industry
• Legal eligibility to work and reside in the EU and the Netherlands is preferred.

Abilities:

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, strong English writing skills for documentation and reports, proficient in English speaking for effective communication with teams and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with American (IEEE, NEC), Russian, and European (IEC) Electrical codes and standards.
• Experienced with the SPEAL and AVEVA Electrical software suite for electrical engineering and design.
• Sound working knowledge of MS Office Suite and industry-standard engineering software.
• Comfortable working in an office environment with minimal field exposure.

Process

Our hiring process begins with an initial screening call with one of our talent specialists to assess your fit for the role. If successful, you'll proceed to a first interview with your future colleagues to learn more about the role and team dynamics. The final stage consists of a second interview with the discipline/area lead and a talent specialist to discuss your aspirations and alignment with our company culture.
