Your new challenge
As a Civil/Structural Designer at CC7 Europe BV, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of industrial EPC projects through high-quality 3D modeling and detailed 2D drafting of structural steel, concrete, and architectural elements. You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering team working on projects across various phases – from concept design through detailed engineering to construction support.
Your responsibilities will include creating and managing 3D models in AVEVA E3D, preparing general arrangement and reinforcement drawings, performing clash checks, and contributing to accurate material take-offs and drawing deliverables. You will also collaborate with internal engineering disciplines and support junior designers, ensuring design integration and consistency across the project.

Your new challenge will include:
Producing 3D models of structural steel, concrete, and foundation components using AVEVA E3D.
Generating high-quality general arrangement drawings in both AVEVA E3D and AutoCAD.
Preparing detailed reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules in AutoCAD.
Extracting 2D deliverables from AVEVA E3D and ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable local/international codes.
Reviewing and performing self-checks on drawings prior to submission to senior designers.
Preparing material take-offs (MTOs) based on 3D models and 2D drawings.
Conducting clash checks using AVEVA E3D and preparing clash reports.
Supporting and mentoring junior and senior designers within the civil/structural discipline.
Collaborating with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, piping, electrical, etc.) to ensure coordinated design.
Participating in design reviews, model walk-throughs, and implementing review comments.
Maintaining clear and accurate design documentation, including drawings, reports, and technical records.
Conducting site surveys and assessments to collect data for design purposes.
Ensuring compliance with QHSE standards, project-specific procedures, and company guidelines.
Contributing to the development of internal standards and best practices for structural and architectural design.
What we would like from you
We are looking for a proactive and technically capable Civil/Structural Designer with solid experience in 3D modeling and 2D drafting within industrial projects, ideally in the oil & gas or energy sectors. You bring a strong foundation in structural and architectural design, hands-on expertise in AVEVA E3D, and a collaborative mindset to support multidisciplinary coordination and project success.
Qualifications:
A university degree or technician diploma in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a designer in the oil&gas or related heavy industrial sectors.
Legal eligibility to work and reside in the EU and the Netherlands is preferred.
Abilities:
Fluent in English, both written and spoken, strong English writing skills for documentation and reports, proficient in English speaking for effective communication with teams and stakeholders.
Proficient in design and drafting of structural steel, reinforced concrete, and architectural elements.
Hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D, PDMS or SP3D is a plus.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and general knowledge of Civil 3D is mandatory.
Familiarity with international codes and standards (Eurocode, ACI, AISC, BS, etc.).
Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams.
Strong team player with the ability to work across locations and cultures.
