Your new challenge
As an AVEVA Systems Engineer / Administrator at CC7 Europe BV, you will play a key role in supporting the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AVEVA engineering applications across all project phases—from concept through FEED to execution. You will be embedded within multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring that AVEVA environments are aligned with complex engineering needs and client-specific requirements.
This senior level position offers the opportunity to work on multi-location, collaborative engineering projects and contribute to the integration and efficiency of AVEVA tools used across our energy and infrastructure portfolios.
You will not only support project execution but also contribute to standardization, documentation, automation, and knowledge sharing efforts across the organization.
Your new challenge will include:
- Installing, configuring, and managing AVEVA software suites, including E3D, Diagrams, and integration services.
Setting up AVEVA project environments for multi-location collaboration and ensuring seamless data flow across engineering disciplines.

Managing AVEVA integration services to enable cross-platform communication with internal and external engineering tools.

Administering project archival, retrieval, DICE checking, and environment reconfiguration.

Mapping client-specific data and document requirements to AVEVA systems for accurate project alignment.

Creating, customizing, and maintaining datasheets based on project or client specifications.

Developing automation scripts using PML and C# to enhance productivity and consistency.

Troubleshooting AVEVA E3D, Diagrams, and integration issues to ensure continuous project support.

Designing and generating report templates categorized by datasheet type, tag, and other criteria.

Building and maintaining symbol libraries per project and company standards.

Customizing isometric and general arrangement drawings (GAD) including borders, attributes, labels, and dimensioning setups.

Generating clash reports and ensuring modeling integrity across the engineering database.

Supporting engineering teams during all phases of 3D modeling, ensuring quality and consistency.

Establishing project-specific and company-wide standards and procedures for AVEVA E3D use.

Providing first-line technical support to project teams and acting as a liaison between users and system stakeholders.

Preparing clear documentation, setup guides, and user manuals for internal distribution.

Conducting training sessions and mentoring fellow systems engineers on AVEVA tools and best practices.

Participating in continuous improvement efforts and contributing to internal tool development and enhancement.
What we would like from you
We are seeking a dedicated professional with deep expertise in engineering systems—particularly AVEVA—and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should be capable of translating technical system requirements into efficient and user-friendly project environments. Your communication skills will be crucial in liaising with stakeholders and delivering training sessions effectively.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple disciplines, where structured thinking, process optimization, and attention to detail are critical to success.
Qualifications:
- University degree or technician qualification in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil&gas / petrochemical industry, with at least 4 years of hands-on AVEVA E3D administration.
- Legal eligibility to work and reside in the EU and the Netherlands is preferred.
Abilities:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, strong English writing skills for documentation and reports, proficient in English speaking for effective communication with teams and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of FEED and Detailed Design deliverables and workflows.
Proficient in AVEVA E3D and AVEVA Diagrams administration, including Dabacon database and multi-discipline setups.

Skilled in project architecture setup, access control (local, global, HUB/satellite), and data ownership across disciplines.

Working knowledge of AVEVA Engineering and other relevant modules.

Strong familiarity with multi-discipline catalogues and symbol libraries.

Experience with 3D modeling tools like PDMS, SP3D, and E3D.

Understanding of AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) and CWP (Construction Work Packages) methodologies.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across multicultural, multi-location teams.

Competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus points for familiarity with:
- AVEVA Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
- AVEVA Process Simulation
- AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management (ERM)
- AutoCAD
